ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL INFO:
All artwork is requested in hard-copy (printed) format and electronic format (computer file). If an electronic file is not available, a hard-copy of your artwork will be sufficient, however, the degree to which your logo may be manipulated will be somewhat limited.

HARD-COPY ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS :
Artwork must be camera ready with a minimum of a 600dpi black&white laser print on bright white paper. Camera ready art should have crisp edges, no fuzziness, and should be printed to 100% and 400% (large as possible) imprint size. Ad slicks or linographs are preferred as any mperfections in your printout will appear on your imprint.

ELECTRONIC ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS:
Artwork submitted in electronic format is preferred to hard-copy artwork alone. Preferred file format is .eps with specifications of 300dpi, all fonts converted to curves/outlines, and true vector origin. Vector origin refers to an artwork file that is comprised of geometric components that can be manipulated from your original file. If an .eps file format is not available, .ai (adobe llustrator), .cdr (coreldraw) files are acceptable (make sure all fonts are converted to curves). Scanned image files such as .tif, .bmp, .wmf, or photo editing files are acceptable however artwork charges may be incurred if image quality is not “camera ready”. Artwork files can be submitted on PC formatted 3.5“ floppy disk, 100meg Zip disk, or e-mailed to our offices.

ARTWORK SERVICES:
If you prefer, in-house artwork services are available at rate of $40 per hour with a $25 minimum. In certain cases for full 4-color process artwork, we will contract an outside graphics house to prepare final artwork and film. These outside graphics services have no value added to them and are billed at true net. If your artwork layout is already on file with our office and additional changes are necessary to any existing artwork, a $15 minimum artwork services fee will be charged. We reserve the right to reject any artwork that is not camera ready without our client's written approval. We also reserve the right to do everything in our power to make sure your artwork looks great and you're completely satisfied with our products and service. We're here to help - just ask!
